Susana Monsó (Madrid, 1988) holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Spanish National Distance Education University (UNED) and is an assistant professor at the Department of Logic, History, and Philosophy of Science of that very university. She has been a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Graz and at the Messerli Research Institute in Vienna, where she received a Lise Meitner scholarship from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). She has published in international journals, such as Erkenntnis, Synthese, Mind & Language, Journal of Ethics, and Philosophical Psychology, among others. Her work focuses on the socio-cognitive abilities of animals and their ethical implications.
