Graduated in Medicine and a specialist in Pediatrics. Since 1987 he has been the coordinator of the Pediatric Services of some important hospitals in Valencia (the Hospital Cruz Roja from 1987 to 1989, the Hospital San Juan de Dios from 1989 to 1992, and the Clínica Quirón from 1992 to 1996). He is a specialist in Sleep Medicine and he is a Master in Conduct Therapy. Since 2002, he has been the medical director of the Valencian Sleep Unit. He has published more than fifty articles and two books on pediatrics and sleep disorders in children and he is a member of some prestigious bodies in these fields, as the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
