is the grandson of the essayist and art critic Eugenio d’Ors.His literary début was "El estreno", published in 2000 which received a wide critical acclaim. His novel "Las ideas puras", was among the finalists of the literary award Premio Herralde de Novela. He then published the novellette "Andanzas del impresor Zollinger" (Anagrama, 2003), recently translated into Catalan by the publishing house El Funambulista. His third novel, also published by Pre-Textos, is "El estupor y la maravilla".

In addition to organizing reading workshops for university students and providing spiritual guidance for the sick and terminally ills of the Hospital Ramón y Cajal in Madrid, d’Ors is currently living and writing in a vaulted house he has had built in an immigrant neighborhood of the city of his birth.
